BJC Car Sales Ltd is a small but long established family car business in Dorset on the South Coast of England. Our showroom is set within the grounds of our family home which lies next to the ancient Stapehill Abbey just outside the beautiful village of Wimborne. Our property is less than a twenty minute drive from the golden sandy beaches of Sandbanks and the stunning natural Poole Harbour. In transportation terms we are situated minutes from the A31 and only ten minutes drive from either Bournemouth airport or Bournemouth train station.
As the Managing Director of BJC, Baron J Cole, I thank you for visiting our site. We have kept it simple and I hope you find it easy to use. I have now been involved full time in the motor trade for around fifteen years, in fact I had the desire to trade in cars ever since I was very young and accompanied my father around the car showrooms he was doing business with nearly thirty years ago! My grandfather Lenny was also in the motor trade making me a third generation motor dealer. My job nowadays is to source cars for our stock that meet my exacting standards in terms of specification, history and mainly condition. I try to stock cars that are the best examples of that particular model. There are two main factors which make my work easier, the first being that we have very low overheads meaning our prices are usually lower than our competitors. The second factor is that I do not need to fill a forecourt; therefore it makes no difference whether I have twenty cars in stock or only five. This means I am never obligated to buy unworthy cars, in fact I would rather have 'no' cars, than bad cars! We only get involved with cars that are completely HPI clear and have a warranted mileage. I love my job and I enjoy dealing in lovely cars and with nice people whether buying stock or helping with sales.
Sarah-Louise Cole, my wife enjoys her role as being the administrator of the company, responsible for all the important behind the scenes jobs within BJC. An accomplished business woman in her own right working in IT and then property, Sarah-Louise handles all of the administration on a daily basis including the all important cherished transfer changes when a customer requires their private plate to be put on the new car and also finance settlements when we are to clear a customer's existing finance plan for them. As well as being a full time mother, Sarah-Louise thrives on working, dealing in the more upmarket cars and with genuine customers, many of which become friends.
Matthew East brings to BJC the charisma, knowledge and patience involved with giving customers the treatment over and above what they would usually be expecting from a non-franchised dealer. Formerly at a large Audi dealership, Matthew understands the customer service which is expected today, but within our casual environment delivers this in a non-pressured laid back way. Together we aim to be as honest and accurate as possible, based on the desire not to miss-describe a car to a customer travelling a long distance to see us. On the basis that we do achieve this, we have supplied cars to every corner of the United Kingdom and even abroad. Our existing customers include a vast array of interesting characters from business men, to Michelin Starred chefs, many of London's legal set and even some minor celebrities, of course as well as hard working ordinary but lovely people from across the country!
